Privacy Policy
The short version
We build open datasets about companies and the people working in AI, and a lot of that is assembled from public sources before anyone asks us to. We are straight about where every fact came from, we never publish contact details, and anything we got wrong you can correct or have removed — whether or not you have an account.
There is a companion page that lists this field by field: what we hold, where it lives, and who can see it.
What you give us
- Profile data you write: name, headline, about, roles, projects, skills, location, links.
- Account data: the email or phone you sign in with.
- Things you submit: suggestions, requests, messages, uploads.
- Usage data: page views and timestamps. No advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking.
What we collect without asking you first
This is the part most privacy policies are vague about, so here it is plainly. To build the datasets we:
- Read public company websites, including their own about, team and leadership pages, and record the people named there with their roles.
- Record publicly available professional information about people active in AI — what they work on, where, and what they have published or spoken about.
- Use models to classify and score what we found, for example how ready a company's website is for AI agents. These are estimates, they are labelled as estimates, and they are sometimes wrong.
- Keep a record of where each fact came from, so any claim on this site can be traced back to its source and argued with.
A profile can therefore exist here for someone who never signed up. If that is you, it is built only from public professional information, it says where it came from, and you can take it down at any time by asking.
What we never do
- We never publish contact details. Email addresses and phone numbers are not on profile pages, not in the API, and not in dataset exports — including where we found them on a public page. They exist so we can verify a claim and so organizers can reach members.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or intelligence platforms.
- We do not buy data about you from brokers.
- We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
- We do not publish private or sensitive personal information — only professional information relevant to why an entity is in a dataset.
Who can see what
- Public: profile pages and the datasets, readable by anyone and by automated agents, with provenance attached.
- Members: some material is visible only to signed-in members.
- You: anything you mark private stays yours.
- Us: contact details, account records and operational notes, used to run the service and never published.
Your data is yours to correct
What you tell us about yourself overrides anything we worked out on our own. Claim your profile and it becomes yours to edit directly.
- Correct it: tell us what is wrong and we will fix it.
- Hide it: we can unpublish your page so it stops existing publicly.
- Delete it: we will remove your profile and associated data within 7 days.
You do not need an account and you do not need to give a reason. Email [email protected].
Data storage
Data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database, encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date above reflects the latest version. This policy describes what the service actually does today, not what it intends to do.
